A Note from the Founder

Why I built
JRYN.

After fifteen years of practicing cosmetic dermatology — first as a young resident, later as a director at one of Seoul's busiest clinics — I realized that the deepest measure of skill was not how dramatic a result looked, but how naturally it integrated into the patient's existing face.

Every face has its own quiet rhythm.
My work is to add precision without erasing what's natural.

That principle shaped every decision when I founded JRYN in 2007. I wanted a clinic where consultation lasted 45 minutes, not 5. Where pricing was transparent, including for foreign patients. Where treatment plans were designed around the patient's own face — not aggressive standard protocols.

Today, JRYN serves patients from Korea, Japan, China, and over thirty other countries. Many fly into Gimhae International Airport specifically for our consultations. Their trust is the result of a simple promise: we will tell you what we honestly think, recommend only what you need, and care for the result long after you have left Busan.

At the clinic in Seomyeon, a JRYN doctor examines your skin before anything is recommended, and sets a plan built around your face — what you need, and what you don't.

Same-day treatment

Botox, fillers, skin boosters and many laser and lifting sessions are completed the same day, in a 1–3 hour visit with little to no downtime, scheduled around your dates.

Aftercare that travels home

International patient FAQ

You won't need a translator. Your consultation, skin assessment, treatment plan and aftercare instructions are explained in English, with Japanese and Chinese support available. We also run WhatsApp and KakaoTalk in your language, so you can ask questions before you travel and after you fly home. You're welcome to bring a companion, but it isn't necessary for a normal visit.

Message us on WhatsApp (+82-10-5573-7574) before you travel. Tell us your concern, your rough dates in Busan, and send photos if you have them. We'll tell you which treatments are realistic in your timeframe and reserve a time that fits your trip. There's no booking fee — you only pay for treatment you agree to after your in-person consult.

Yes, and we recommend it. Based on your photos and concern, we send an English estimate over WhatsApp — a fair figure depends on your treatment area and shot count, following Korea's non-covered fee disclosure. It's an estimate, not a final quote; the exact plan is confirmed after your in-person skin consult, but it lets you budget the trip before committing.

Usually, yes. Botox, fillers, skin boosters and many laser and lifting sessions are completed the same day in a 1–3 hour visit with little to no downtime. Some plans — a course of boosters or staged lifting — read better over more than one session, and we'll tell you honestly before you book so nothing is rushed in a way that risks the result.

For non-covered (비급여) cosmetic treatments — Botox, fillers, lifting, lasers, skin boosters — the price is the same for everyone. A small number of procedures are covered by Korea's national health insurance for residents; if you don't hold Korean NHI, those are charged at the standard non-covered rate. We confirm the exact fee at your visit so you always know before we proceed.

You pay the clinic directly — no agency, no markup added to your quote. We accept major credit cards and cash (KRW). If you need a receipt or Korean medical documentation for insurance or reimbursement back home, let us know and we'll prepare it.

We stay reachable on WhatsApp and KakaoTalk after you leave. For most concerns we can guide you with a photo check and advice in English, Japanese or Chinese, and your treatment notes are documented so any doctor can continue your care if needed.
