What the hundred guides were for

A patient deciding from another country cannot assess a face, a technique or a judgement — all of which happen in a room they have not entered yet. What they can assess is whether a clinic explains the mechanism behind what it sells, states what it cannot do, and publishes the checks that would catch it out. That is a narrower thing than trust and it is the only thing available at distance. What has not changed across all of them

Four things recur on almost every page, and they are the whole argument in compressed form. Coverage and dose decide results more than brand does.
