Thirty-minute treatments in Busan Seomyeon, and what the clock actually allows.
Treatment time and appointment time are not the same thing, and most published figures quote the first. This sets out door-to-door timings for a short visit — including consultation, numbing and payment — so a thirty-minute window is one you can actually keep.

Clinics quote treatment time, patients need appointment time, and the gap between them is where lunch breaks get ruined. Botox is a ten-minute procedure inside a forty-minute visit on a first appointment. These are the door-to-door figures instead.
Does This Sound Familiar?
What patients ask about short visits
I have an hour between meetings. Is that enough for anything useful?
The site says ten minutes but how long am I actually there?
Does a first visit take longer than a repeat?
Can I skip the consultation to save time?
What happens if my meeting overruns and I arrive late?
All five come up most weeks, and the second is the one that catches people out. The sections below give door-to-door figures rather than procedure times.
What actually fits thirty minutes?
On a repeat visit where the plan is already set: wrinkle botox, jaw botox, pico toning
and melasma toning. Each runs ten to twenty minutes of treatment with minimal preparation, and you are out the door well inside half an hour. On a first visit, add twenty to forty minutes for consultation — which is the figure most patients are not told.
Why does the first visit take so much longer?
Because the assessment is the part that cannot be compressed. On a first visit the doctor examines the concern, distinguishes between causes that look identical, checks medication and previous treatment, and sets the dose to your anatomy. That is twenty to forty minutes and it is where the result comes from. On subsequent visits the plan is on file, so the same treatment fits a genuinely short window.
What needs an hour rather than thirty minutes?
Anything with numbing. Filler
and boosters
both need twenty minutes of topical anaesthetic before the injection starts, which turns a twenty-minute procedure into a forty-five-minute visit. Energy lifting
runs forty-five to ninety minutes of treatment depending on shot count, plus numbing. None of these fit a lunch break honestly, and we would rather say so than have you late.
Can I skip the consultation to save time?
Not on a first visit, and this is the one thing we hold firm on. Sending photographs and your concern beforehand shortens the in-person consultation considerably — see booking in English
— but it does not replace the examination, because dose depends on muscle bulk and tissue thickness that a photograph does not show. If a delay leaves thirty minutes instead of ninety, we reschedule rather than shorten the assessment.
Short treatments finish inside the quoted window
How do I make a short visit work in practice?
Three things. Message ahead so the plan and price range are agreed before you arrive. Book a morning or early afternoon slot, which are quieter than evenings and weekends. And come by subway rather than taxi — Seomyeon Station Exit 2 is five minutes on foot and Seomyeon Mall Exit 16 is two, both more predictable than road traffic at lunchtime.
What are the realistic door-to-door times?
For a repeat botox appointment, thirty minutes covers arrival, treatment and payment. A first botox visit runs fifty to sixty. A repeat toning session fits thirty; a first one, fifty. Filler and boosters run forty-five to seventy-five on a repeat visit and ninety on a first. Lifting is ninety minutes to two hours regardless. These figures assume you arrive on time and include no margin for a late train.
What if I arrive late?
Tell us and the appointment is adjusted rather than rushed. The clinic runs through lunch and opens seven days a week, which gives more flexibility than most Korean clinics — a slot later the same day is often available. There is no deposit to forfeit and no cancellation charge. What we will not do is compress the consultation to fit what remains of your window.
Does a short visit mean a shorter consultation next time?
It means a shorter one because the assessment already exists, not because it was skipped. Your notes record product, dose, area and how you responded, so a repeat visit starts from that rather than from nothing. What still gets checked each time is whether anything has changed — new medication, a different concern, or an uneven result from last time that needs correcting.
Is a rushed treatment worse than a scheduled one?
The treatment itself is identical — the same doctor, the same product, the same technique regardless of how long you have. What suffers under time pressure is the conversation before it: the questions you would have asked, the alternative you would have been told about, the honest assessment that the treatment you booked is not the right one. That is why the assessment is the part we protect and the treatment is the part that can be quick.
Our Medical Team
Who will actually treat you at JRYN Seomyeon?
A doctor, in person, every time — never a nurse or a coordinator. JRYN Seomyeon has three doctors, and the clinic was founded by Dr. Jeong Heon Lee, who still consults here. What you actually need is decided during the consultation after your skin is examined, not from a fixed package chosen in advance.
Three doctors, one standard of care.
Every treatment plan at JRYN Seomyeon is decided and performed in person by one of our doctors — led by Dr. Jeong Heon Lee, founder of JRYN Dermatology.
From the Founder
The consultation is the treatment.
Most patients arrive asking for a specific treatment. My job is to check whether it is the right one for what they actually have. Getting that wrong is the most common mistake I correct.

Questions patients ask first.
Jaw botox
at around five minutes of actual injection, or wrinkle botox
at five to ten. Neither needs numbing for most patients. On a repeat visit these genuinely fit a half-hour window door to door.
On a repeat visit, sometimes — botox and toning together run around thirty to forty minutes. Adding anything that needs numbing pushes it past an hour. Say what you want when you message and you will be given a realistic total rather than an optimistic one.
Usually slower. A booked slot means a coordinator who speaks your language is scheduled and your file is ready. Walk-ins are accepted during opening hours but waiting time varies, and on a tight schedule that variability is the problem.
A few minutes. Foreign-issued Visa, Mastercard, JCB and AMEX are accepted alongside cash in Korean won, and Korean medical receipts are issued at the same time. No deposit is required and payment is taken after treatment.
Busier, not slower — those are the peak windows. Weekday mornings are the quietest and the best choice if you are working around a fixed commitment. The clinic opens seven days a week, so a weekday morning is usually available.
Yes. Lips and under-eye need the full twenty minutes and often benefit from longer. Chin, cheek and jaw need less. Botox
in most areas needs none at all, which is why it fits a short window when little else does.
For botox, toning or lifting, yes — see flying home after treatment
for which allow a same-day flight. Allow ninety minutes at the clinic plus forty-five to Gimhae, and treat that as a minimum rather than a target.
Send photographs and your concern ahead, arrive with identification and a medication list, and come by subway. Those three between them remove most of the variability — see what to bring
for the full list.
Doctor-led planning across six categories. Foreign patients pay the same as local patients — what changes a final figure is units and area, never nationality.
