What is Lefton Laser, and what does it do?

Lefton Laser delivers long-pulse laser energy across the face in thousands of rapid, low-energy passes, warming the dermis gradually to the temperature at which collagen contracts and new collagen is laid down. Because each pass is gentle and the heat builds slowly, there is no pain, no numbing and no mark. The dose is counted in shots, 3,000 for a standard full-face session and 6,000 for a fuller one that adds the neck or a second pass. Alongside the tightening, patients notice a brighter, more even tone, which is why it is popular before events.

At Boom Dermatology in Seomyeon we suggest Lefton to patients whose goal is firmness and glow rather than a structural lift, to those who find RF or HIFU uncomfortable, and as the maintenance between stronger sessions. It sits beside Fotona Titanium Lifting as our second laser-based tightening option, at a lower price per session. For a dropped jawline we point you to ultrasound; for the strongest single-session tightening, to Oligio or XERF.

What Busan patients ask before Lefton Laser
  • I want my skin firmer and brighter before an event, with nothing to recover from.
  • HIFU and RF both hurt. Is there a lifting option that does not?
  • Is 3,000 shots a lot? It sounds like a lot.
  • Lefton or Titanium: what is the difference?
  • Can I do this monthly?

All of these come up most weeks at our Seomyeon skin clinic. The page answers them in order.

07 Questions, answered properly

Is 3,000 shots a lot?

It sounds like a lot because each shot is tiny. Lefton works by many low-energy passes rather than a few deep pulses, so 3,000 shots is one even full-face session and 6,000 adds the neck or a second pass. Compare it with the 300 deep shots of a monopolar RF device: different dose, different sensation, different depth. The number is on your record either way.

Lefton or Fotona Titanium: what is the difference?

Both are laser-based skin tightening with no downtime. Titanium is Fotona's Nd:YAG in ultra-long-pulse mode, dosed in kilojoules, with slightly deeper heating; Lefton delivers thousands of faster passes with a stronger effect on tone and glow at a lower price. For firmness alone, Titanium; for firmness with brightness before an event, Lefton. The doctor will say which suits your skin.

Does Lefton hurt?

No. The passes feel like warm light moving across the face. No numbing cream is used, and most patients at our Seomyeon skin clinic find it relaxing.

Can I do Lefton monthly?

Three sessions three to four weeks apart is the course; after that, one session per season keeps the result. Monthly beyond a course adds little, and the doctor will tell you when to stop rather than keep you on a schedule.

Can I combine it with other treatments in one visit?

Yes. Shurink or Ultherapy first for the deeper layer, then Lefton on the skin, in the same afternoon. Botox the same day after the skin cools; filler and toning lasers two weeks apart.

Lefton Laser questions patients ask our Busan skin clinic first

1

How much does Lefton Laser cost in Busan?

₩330,000 for 3,000 shots and ₩550,000 for 6,000 at Boom Dermatology in Seomyeon, VAT included, same price for every patient.

2

Does Lefton hurt?

No. Warm light moving across the face; no numbing cream.

3

How many sessions do I need?

Three sessions three to four weeks apart, then one per season. A single session works before an event.

4

Is it a real lift?

It tightens the skin layer and brightens tone; it does not move the SMAS. For a dropped jawline we pair it with or suggest ultrasound.

5

Lefton or Fotona Titanium?

Both laser-based and no-downtime. Titanium heats slightly deeper and is dosed in kJ; Lefton adds more glow at a lower price.

6

Can I fly home the same day?

Yes. No downtime; a faint flush for an hour. Sunscreen is the only instruction.

7

Who performs it?

The doctor, with energy and passes set from your skin and pigment and written on your record.
