Wedding Plan · Seomyeon, Busan · Foreigner-Friendly
Six months to your wedding in Busan Seomyeon, counted backwards from the day.
Everything worth doing has a lead time, and most of the regret comes from treating too close to the date rather than too little. This is the plan counted backwards, month by month, with the things that should never be near the day marked clearly.
Plans are built backwards from the date, not forwards from today

What should never be near the date?
How do I avoid looking different in the photographs?
Why does treating late go wrong more often?
What is the one thing worth doing if I only do one?
What if the wedding is sooner than six months?
The most common wedding mistake is not doing too little but doing something new too late. A treatment you have never had before, three weeks out, is a gamble with no correction window. What follows assumes you would rather not gamble.
Does This Sound Familiar?
What brides and grooms ask
How far ahead should I actually start?
Is it too late if the wedding is in eight weeks?
I have never had anything done. Where do I begin?
What should I absolutely not do close to the date?
How do I avoid looking different in the photographs?
All five come up most weeks through wedding season. The fourth has the firmest answer, and the sections below count backwards from the date.
Six months out — start anything that needs a course
This is when acne scar resurfacing
at four to six sessions and melasma
at eight to fifteen become realistic rather than aspirational. Both need intervals that cannot be shortened, and both look worse before they look better. Six months also allows a full Rejuran
cycle with maintenance, and gives time to change course if the first sessions reveal a different problem.
Four to five months — structural work
Energy lifting
belongs here, because the result builds over two to three months and peaks precisely when you want it. Thread lifting
also, since it carries two to three weeks of restrictions and five to ten days of visible swelling. Sculptra
if volume rebuilding is part of the plan — it shows nothing for six weeks and reaches full effect at three months.
Three months — the jaw and the profile
Jaw botox
needs eight weeks minimum for the visible slimming to arrive, which catches people out because facial botox settles in two. Treating at three months means the change is complete and a second round is possible if you want more. Chin filler
also sits comfortably here, with time for the two-week refinement and for the result to settle fully.
Two months — filler and the last new thing
Any filler
you have not had before should be done by now, not later. Two months allows swelling to resolve, the two-week refinement to happen, and — if you dislike it — time to dissolve and reassess. This is the last point at which trying something new is sensible. After this, the rule is repeat only what you already know your face does with.
One month — repeats only
Wrinkle botox
if you have had it before, timed three to four weeks out so it has settled fully with a correction window still open. Pico toning
for brightness. Boosters
at three to four weeks. Nothing on this list should be a first-time treatment — the point of the final month is consolidating a face you already know rather than discovering one.
Nothing new in the final month — that is the rule
Two weeks — glow only
Water glow
at ten to fourteen days out lands its peak on the day with all injection points long settled. That is the single best-timed treatment in the whole plan. Nothing else belongs in this window — not filler, not a first booster, not laser. If something has gone wrong earlier, this is repair time rather than treatment time.
What should never be near the date?
Three things. Thread lifting
within six weeks, given the swelling and restriction period. Fractional resurfacing
within six weeks, given the peeling and the pink phase that follows. And lip filler
within three weeks, because it swells more visibly than anything else and photographs badly at day two. Each of these is fine four months out and a serious problem at three weeks.
How do I avoid looking different in the photographs?
By treating early and conservatively rather than late and decisively. The results that read as unnatural in wedding photographs are almost always overdone filler placed close to the date, when there was no time to see it settle and no time to dissolve it. Everything in this plan is reversible or gradual for that reason. Tell us the date at your first consultation and every session is scheduled backwards from it.
Why does treating late go wrong more often?
Because every safeguard in the process needs time to work. The two-week refinement after filler
exists precisely so asymmetry gets corrected — at three weeks out there is no room for it. Dissolving hyaluronic acid takes a day or two plus a fortnight to reassess, which is a comfortable remedy in month four and an impossible one in the final fortnight. Swelling that would have been unremarkable in April becomes the thing you see in every photograph in June. The treatments are not riskier close to the date; the margin for correction simply disappears.
What is the one thing worth doing if I only do one?
For most people, a course of toning
starting three months out. Even skin tone photographs better than almost any structural change, it is low risk, and it addresses the thing that make-up struggles most to cover. Where the concern is texture rather than tone, a booster course
serves the same purpose. Both are gradual, neither is dramatic, and both read as looking well rather than looking treated — which is the actual goal.
What if the wedding is sooner than six months?
Then the plan compresses rather than disappearing. Three months still accommodates lifting, jaw botox and a filler plan. Six weeks accommodates repeats and boosters. Two weeks accommodates glow. What shrinks is not the quality of the result but the range of what can safely be started — and we would rather tell you that than fit something in that needs longer than you have.
Our Medical Team
Who will actually treat you at JRYN Seomyeon?
A doctor, in person, every time — never a nurse or a coordinator. JRYN Seomyeon has three doctors, and the clinic was founded by Dr. Jeong Heon Lee, who still consults here. What you actually need is decided during the consultation after your skin is examined, not from a fixed package chosen in advance.
Three doctors, one standard of care.
Every treatment plan at JRYN Seomyeon is decided and performed in person by one of our doctors — led by Dr. Jeong Heon Lee, founder of JRYN Dermatology.
From the Founder
The consultation is the treatment.
Most patients arrive asking for a specific treatment. My job is to check whether it is the right one for what they actually have. Getting that wrong is the most common mistake I correct.

Before You Book
Questions patients ask first.
No, and a great deal fits. Botox, boosters, toning
and lifting
all work in that window. What does not is anything with a course requirement or a long swelling period.
Frequently the same list on a shorter plan — wrinkle botox, toning
and microbotox
for oil and pores are the common requests. Dosing differs, since male muscle bulk is typically higher.
It matters for sun exposure. A tropical honeymoon a week after pigment work undoes it, so pigment treatment goes well before the wedding or after the trip — see sun protection.
That is essentially what treating four months out is. Anything new gets done early enough that you see the settled result, decide whether you want more, and still have time to adjust.
Not in the last month. New actives can irritate, and irritation close to the date is exactly what you do not want. Settle a routine three months out and keep it.
Tell us immediately rather than waiting. Hyaluronic acid filler dissolves within a day or two, uneven botox
corrects in minutes, and most other issues have a faster remedy than patients assume — but only if there is time to use it.
Nothing clinical. Sleep, hydration and avoiding alcohol the night before do more for how you photograph than any last-minute treatment, and every treatment worth having was done weeks ago.
Yes. Send the date and your travel dates and the plan is built backwards from both — see booking in English. For overseas patients the constraint is usually trips available rather than time.
Doctor-led planning across six categories. Foreign patients pay the same as local patients — what changes a final figure is units and area, never nationality.
