Laser Technologies

The right laser, for the right concern.

No single laser does everything. Pico shatters pigment, vascular lasers target vessels, fractional lasers resurface and rebuild, and Q-switched toning safely clears melasma. Matching the technology to your concern is the whole job — Dr. Lee does it personally.

Picosecond · Pigment
Pico Lasers
PicoCare, PicoPlus and PicoWay shatter pigment into dust with no downtime — for dullness, freckles, sun spots and tattoos.
Vascular · Redness
Excel V & Vbeam
Light absorbed by haemoglobin collapses the vessels behind redness, rosacea and broken capillaries — the gold-standard platforms.
Fractional · Resurfacing
CO2 & Fotona
Fractional CO2, Frac3 and Pearl renew the surface and rebuild deep collagen — for scars, pores, fine lines and sun damage.
Q-Switched · Toning
Helios & Clarity
Gentle low-fluence toning safely clears stubborn melasma and pigment — the careful approach melasma demands.

Many concerns need more than one platform — acne scars especially. Korean lasers (Helios, PicoCare) are excellent and affordable; imported platforms (Vbeam, Cutera, Candela) lead in vascular and resurfacing. We map the right combination honestly in consultation.

A laser is only as good as the hand choosing it. The same concern can need Pico, fractional or vascular — and acne scars often need all three. I diagnose first, then match the technology and settings to your skin and tone. That judgement is the treatment.

Is it right for me?

Who laser treatment suits.

A good fit if you…

  • Have pigmentation, melasma, freckles or uneven tone
  • Have acne scars, enlarged pores or rough texture
  • Have facial redness, flushing or broken capillaries
  • Want a mole or benign spot assessed and removed
  • Want clearer, smoother skin over a planned course

A different plan may suit you better if you…

These don't always rule laser out — often it just means timing or a different plan, which we confirm in consultation:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding → we postpone most lasers
  • Have a fresh tan or recent sun exposure → we wait to protect your skin
  • Have active cystic acne or a skin infection → we treat that first
  • Recently took isotretinoin (Roaccutane) → we assess timing
  • Expect one session to clear deep pigment → most concerns need a course

At JRYN Seomyeon, lasers start from ₩50,000 (mole removal) and ₩80,000 (Pico toning). Melasma from ₩100,000, redness and acne scar from ₩200,000, resurfacing from ₩300,000 per session. Most need a course. An exact quote is given free in consultation or over WhatsApp.

It depends entirely on the concern: Pico for pigment and brightening, Excel V/Vbeam for redness, fractional CO2 for scars and resurfacing, gentle toning for melasma. Many concerns need a combination. Dr. Lee diagnoses and builds the plan in consultation.

Yes, with the right platform and settings — but Asian and darker skin carry a higher risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation, so an experienced MD matters. Dr. Lee chooses gentler, melasma-safe approaches and adjusts every setting for your skin tone.

It varies by concern: mole removal is often one session, redness 3–5, acne scars 4–6, Pico toning 5–10, and melasma 8–15. Most lasers build results over a course; we plan a realistic schedule around your trip.

It ranges from none (Pico toning, laser toning) to 7–10 days (deep fractional CO2, mole removal). We match the intensity to your schedule and always advise strict sun protection afterward.
