Questions, answered properly
Why pay ₩330,000 when the entry toning is ₩88,000?
Only when the pigment needs it. Diffuse dullness clears on Brighton or Helios 4 and the higher price adds nothing; a stubborn, consolidated spot needs picosecond or Helios Z power and the lower-priced session will not move it. At Boom Dermatology the doctor names the tier from a photo and the list shows the price of each.
Does higher power mean higher risk on Asian skin?
Higher fluence does, on any machine, which is why the doctor works below the whitening endpoint and uses 532 nm only as targeted pulses after test pulses. Picosecond pulses put less heat into the skin than Q-switched at equal effect, which is the safety margin, not the peak-power number on the brochure.
How many fewer sessions does the power save?
For a consolidated spot, picosecond typically clears in three to five sessions what Q-switched toning takes eight to ten to shift. For diffuse tone, none; the course is the same. Our Seomyeon skin clinic prices per session so the shorter course is also the cheaper one.
Can it handle a stubborn spot that appears mid-course?
Yes: a targeted 532 nm pulse on Picolo or PicoHi at the next session, or a switch to Helios Z for the spot, at no extra cost beyond the session. Courses at Boom Dermatology in Busan are reviewed at every visit, not only at the end.
