Vbeam Perfecta in Busan Seomyeon, the laser that only sees red.
Vbeam's 595nm pulsed dye is absorbed by haemoglobin and almost nothing else — so dilated vessels take the energy while the skin around them is cooled and spared. Rosacea, flushing, broken capillaries and red acne marks, at our Busan, Korea clinic from ₩200,000 per session. English, 日本語 and 中文 consults. Medically reviewed by Dr. Jeong Heon Lee, MD.

Does This Sound Familiar?
What Busan patients ask before booking Vbeam.
My face flushes and stays red — is that rosacea or just sensitive skin?
Can a laser actually remove the little red vessels around my nose?
What is purpura, and will I have bruises for a week?
Vbeam or IPL — which one does my redness need?
Does redness come back, and how often would I return?
All five come up most weeks in Busan. The sections below answer them in order — how the flushing-versus-sensitivity read is made, what selective absorption does to a vessel, the honest purpura conversation, the Vbeam-versus-IPL assignment, and realistic maintenance.
Vbeam Perfecta · JRYN Seomyeon
What Is Vbeam Perfecta?
One wavelength, aimed at haemoglobin.
Vbeam Perfecta is a pulsed-dye laser emitting at 595nm — a wavelength haemoglobin absorbs strongly and surrounding skin barely notices. The energy is taken up inside the vessel, heats the blood, and collapses the vessel wall, while a cryogen spray cools the surface a fraction of a second before each pulse.
That selectivity is why it remains the reference tool for vascular work: diffuse facial redness, rosacea flushing, telangiectasia around the nose and cheeks, red post-acne marks and some vascular birthmarks. Pulse width decides the experience — longer, gentler pulses keep you purpura-free and social, shorter ones hit harder with bruising that clears in a week. At our Busan, Korea clinic the setting is chosen with you, and the session price is ₩200,000 on the published list.
How It Works
The science, without the hype.
Selective absorption, then cooling — the sequence inside one pulse at our Busan clinic.
01
595nm selectivity
Haemoglobin absorbs this wavelength far more than surrounding tissue — the vessel takes the energy, the skin does not.
02
Vessel collapse
Heated blood coagulates and the vessel wall seals; the body clears the closed vessel over the following weeks.
03
Dynamic cooling
A cryogen burst fires milliseconds before each pulse, protecting the epidermis and making the session tolerable without numbing for most.
04
Pulse-width choice
Longer pulses = purpura-free and social; shorter pulses = stronger clearance with a week of bruising. Chosen together, before we start.
What Vbeam Treats
Anything red, graded by vessel type.
The examination separates diffuse redness from discrete vessels — settings and session counts follow.
Rosacea & flushing
Diffuse
Background redness across cheeks, nose and chin — calmed progressively across a course.
Sessions3–5
Builds3–4 wk apart
Broken capillaries
Discrete
Individual visible vessels around the nose and cheeks — often clear in one or two sessions.
Sessions1–2
NoteVessel-by-vessel

Post-inflammatory
The lingering red (not brown) marks after breakouts — the erythema that toning lasers cannot reach.

Your Visit, Step by Step
Six steps at our Busan clinic, fifteen to thirty minutes per pass.
01
Redness reading
The doctor separates diffuse rosacea from discrete vessels and from brown pigment at our Busan clinic — three different problems that look similar in a mirror.
02
Photos and setting choice
Fixed-frame photos, then the purpura conversation: social-downtime settings or stronger single-session clearance, decided with you in writing.
03
Cooling test pulses
A few test pulses confirm comfort and response before the full pass — the cryogen spray does most of the comfort work.
04
The pass
Pulse by pulse across the mapped zones — fifteen to thirty minutes, a snapping warmth most patients tolerate without numbing.
05
The settling
Purpura-free settings: flushed for hours, normal by next day. Purpura settings: bruise-toned for five to seven days, concealable.
06
Review and pace
Three to four weeks between sessions, photographed each time — reviewed by message after you leave Busan.

The Clearing Curve
What a course honestly delivers.
When
What you will notice
What to do
Day 0
Treated zones read flushed and warm; purpura settings show bruise-toned patches where vessels were hit.
Cool compresses tonight; no hot showers, sauna or alcohol for 48 hours.
Day 1–7
Purpura-free settings are back to normal by day one. Purpura fades through the week like any bruise.
Concealer covers it fully from day two. SPF starts immediately and does not stop.
Week 2–4
The real read: vessels gone or fainter, background redness a step calmer in fixed-frame photos.
The photo decides whether session two repeats the setting or eases it.
Rosacea is controlled, not cured: most patients return once or twice a year.
Honest Suitability
Who it suits in Busan — and who should wait.
A good fit if you…
Rosacea and facial flushing wanting the reference vascular tool
Broken capillaries around the nose and cheeks
Red (not brown) post-acne marks that toning lasers leave behind
Preferring a purpura-free social setting over one aggressive pass
Busan visitors — purpura-free sessions leave nothing to hide by next day
Better to wait if you…
Pregnancy — deferred as standard
Active tan or recent sun exposure — two shaded weeks first
Isotretinoin courses — timing screened per current guidance
Brown pigment mistaken for redness — routed to toning lasers honestly, not treated here
After your treatment
Cool compresses on the day; no sauna, hot showers or alcohol for 48 hours
SPF daily — treated vessels and healing skin are UV-sensitive
Concealer over purpura from day two if the stronger setting was chosen
Fixed-frame photos at each session referee the course
Honest limits
Rosacea is controlled, not cured — vessels can reform and maintenance is part of the deal
Brown pigment does not respond to a vascular wavelength; that needs toning lasers
Purpura-free settings trade speed for social downtime — more sessions, not fewer results
Our Medical Team
Vbeam or IPL — which does my redness actually need?
Both treat redness, but they aim differently. IPL is broadband light that hits vessels and brown pigment together — efficient when a face carries both, less precise on either. Vbeam is a single wavelength tuned to haemoglobin, so for true rosacea, stubborn flushing and discrete vessels it clears more per session and reaches vessels IPL leaves behind. My rule at our Busan clinic: mixed redness-and-pigment faces often start with broadband; vascular-dominant faces go straight to Vbeam. The exam separates the two in a minute, and the photos settle the rest.
Three doctors, one standard of care.
Every Vbeam course at JRYN Busan Seomyeon is vessel-read and treated in person by one of our doctors
From the Founder
Read and treated in person by one of our doctors.
Vbeam is the tool I trust when a patient says "my face is just red" — because that sentence hides three different problems, and only one of them is vascular. Read it right and the laser is almost unfair: the vessel takes the energy and the skin never knew. Read it wrong and you have lasered pigment with the wrong wavelength.

Quick Answers
What is purpura, and will I have bruises for a week?
Only if you choose the setting that causes it. Purpura is the bruise-toned mark left when a pulse is short and strong enough to rupture the treated vessel — it clears more per session but takes five to seven days to fade. Longer pulse widths avoid it entirely: you leave flushed, look normal by next day, and simply need a session or two more. At our Busan clinic that trade is decided with you before the first pulse, not discovered after.
Can Vbeam remove the small red vessels around my nose?
Usually yes, and often faster than patients expect — discrete telangiectasia are exactly what selective absorption handles best, with many clearing in one or two sessions. The honest caveats: vessels in a chronically flushed face can reform, so the underlying rosacea usually deserves treatment alongside; and vessels close to the nostril rim can need a second pass. Your written plan states the expected count before you book.
Everything Else You Might Ask
Vbeam questions in Busan.
₩200,000 per session on the published list, with the course count written at the exam. No foreigner markup, and nothing added mid-course.
Yes — English, Japanese (日本語) and Chinese (中文). We are a 5-minute walk from Seomyeon Station Exit 2, and course photos are reviewed on WhatsApp after you fly home from Busan.
A laser we run daily at our Busan clinic, emitting 595nm light that haemoglobin absorbs strongly and surrounding tissue barely does — so energy lands inside the vessel and collapses it, leaving the skin around it untouched.
At our Busan clinic: rosacea and diffuse flushing, broken capillaries, red post-acne marks and some vascular birthmarks — anything where the problem is blood, not pigment.
Most patients need no numbing at our Busan clinic — the cryogen spray fires before each pulse, and the sensation is a cool snap. Numbing cream is available on request for sensitive zones.
Yes, with type-matched settings — the vascular wavelength is not the pigment-targeting kind that raises PIH risk, and the cooling spray protects the surface at every pulse.
Discrete vessels often clear in one or two; diffuse rosacea runs three to five, three to four weeks apart. Your written plan states the count before you start.
Individual vessels can look gone immediately; diffuse redness reads calmer at the two-to-four-week photo and keeps improving across the course.
Rosacea is a condition we control, not cure — treated vessels are gone, but the tendency remains and new vessels can form. Most patients return once or twice a year, and we say so before you spend.
Vbeam is the pulsed-dye reference for vascular work; Excel V adds a second wavelength that also reaches pigment, at ₩99,000. The exam assigns by what your face actually carries, not by price tier.
It treats the vascular half — background redness and flushing. The papules and pustules of rosacea need medical management alongside, which is part of the same consultation.
Yes — flushing and nose vessels book heavily among men at our Busan clinic, with beard-zone technique adjusted accordingly.
Yes — you can fly out of Busan the same day. Purpura-free settings leave nothing to hide; if the stronger setting was chosen, concealer covers it from day two.
Sun and self-tanner for two weeks, retinoids for a few days, and alcohol the night before — the standard vascular-laser preparation.
Sauna, hot showers, hard training and alcohol for 48 hours — all of them flush the face — plus unprotected sun through the course.
Discrete vessels cleared, diffuse redness a visible step calmer in fixed-frame photos, red acne marks fading faster than they would alone. What no honest clinic promises: a cure for rosacea, permanence without maintenance, or brown pigment removed by a vascular wavelength.
