PDO threads are the versatile, affordable choice for early-to-moderate sagging and collagen; Aptos is premium for a stronger 2-year lift; nose threads refine the bridge and tip. Dr. Lee recommends — and often blends — based on your face in consultation.

PDO threads typically last 12–18 months (lifting) or 9–12 months (collagen); Aptos can last up to 2 years. The threads dissolve over months, but the collagen they stimulate holds the result after they're gone.

Local anaesthetic makes it tolerable. Expect swelling, bruising and a tight feeling for 3–10 days depending on the threads, with care needed for up to 2–3 weeks (no wide mouth opening, saunas or facials). Plan a recovery buffer before any event.

For early-to-moderate sagging, threads give a natural lift with far less cost, risk and downtime than a facelift. For very advanced sagging, surgery is more honest and lasting. Dr. Lee will tell you truthfully which suits you — we don't oversell threads.
