Korean vs Imported

Two tiers, one honest choice.

Both Korean and imported HA fillers are clinically safe in licensed hands. They differ in cost, longevity and texture — Dr. Lee recommends by your goal and budget, never by what costs more.

Korean · Value
Attierre
Affordable Korean HA, ideal for first-timers and smaller areas. From ₩39,000 — a conservative, budget-friendly entry to filler.
Korean · Balanced
Neuramis
A popular Korean filler balancing softness and structure. Strong all-rounder for lips, chin and contour at a mid price point.
Imported · FDA
Juvederm
FDA-approved premium filler — smooth texture, natural movement and the longest-lasting results. The imported gold standard.
Imported · Specialist
Restylane
A specialist imported range — Kysse for lips, Lyft for cheekbones, Vital for thin skin. Chosen when an area needs a tailored filler.

Korean HA fillers are MFDS-approved and far more affordable; imported fillers (Juvederm, Restylane) are FDA-approved with the longest track records. The under-eye and nose use specialised products only — we map the right filler honestly in consultation.

Our Medical Team

Three doctors, one standard of care.

Every filler plan at JRYN Seomyeon is injected in person by one of our doctors — founded and guided by Dr. Jeong Heon Lee since 2007.

Filler is judgement, not volume. The same syringe can balance a face or wreck it — it depends entirely on placement and restraint. I plan every face individually, treat the higher-risk areas myself, and would always rather you return for a touch-up than leave over-filled.

Is it right for me?

Who filler suits.

A good fit if you…

  • Want more definition or projection — nose, chin or fuller lips
  • Want to restore lost volume in the cheeks or temples
  • Want to soften under-eye hollows or shadows from a hollow
  • Prefer an immediate, reversible result (HA filler can be dissolved)
  • Want a natural plan built area-by-area, never a fixed package

A different plan may suit you better if you…

These don't always rule filler out — often it just means a different or combined plan, which we confirm in consultation:

  • Want to relax wrinkles or slim a muscle → that's Botox, not filler
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding → we postpone filler
  • Have under-eye bags from fat or fluid, not a hollow → filler won't fix that
  • Have an active skin infection at the site → treated first
  • Have older filler that needs assessing → we review before adding more
Good to Know

Filler questions.

At JRYN Seomyeon, filler starts from ₩39,000 for Korean brands (chin, Attierre) and ranges up to ₩500,000 for specialised under-eye (Eyelight 1cc). Lips from ₩50,000, nose from ₩90,000, cheeks from ₩50,000. Imported Juvederm and Restylane cost more and last longer. An exact quote is given free in consultation or over WhatsApp.

Both are clinically safe in licensed hands. Korean fillers (Attierre, Neuramis) are far more affordable and excellent for most areas; imported fillers (Juvederm, Restylane) last longer and offer area-specific options like Kysse for lips. Dr. Lee recommends by your goal and budget, never by price.

That's the whole philosophy here. Dr. Lee treats for balance — subtle volume that suits your face — and would rather under-fill and refine at a touch-up than overdo it. Lips, in particular, are designed to move naturally, never the "duck" look.

Filler contains lidocaine and areas are numbed, so discomfort is minimal. Most areas have little downtime — mild swelling or small bruises for 24–48 hours. Lips swell more (24–72 hours) and the under-eye may bruise for 3–7 days, so plan trips accordingly.

It depends on the area and brand: lips 6–9 months, under-eye 9–12 months, and structural areas like cheeks, chin and nose 12–18 months. Firmer imported fillers tend to last longest. All HA filler is also reversible if ever needed.
