Quanta 585 · Seomyeon, Busan · Foreigner-Friendly

Quanta 585 in Busan Seomyeon, the third vascular platform on our list.

We run three vascular lasers, which is two more than most clinics need to justify. Quanta 585 sits alongside Vbeam and Excel V, and the examination assigns among them rather than defaulting to whichever is free. ₩200,000 per session at our Busan, Korea clinic. English, 日本語 and 中文 consults. Medically reviewed by Dr. Jeong Heon Lee, MD.

Does This Sound Familiar?

What Busan patients ask before booking a vascular session.

  • Why would I be assigned this rather than Vbeam?
  • Is a third vascular laser genuinely necessary?
  • What does the 585 in the name refer to?
  • How many sessions does redness usually take?

All five come up most weeks in Busan. The sections below answer them in order — how assignment works across three platforms, why owning three changes the incentive, what the wavelength number means, and honest session counts.

Where Quanta 585 Sits

One of three, assigned by grading.

Redness is not one problem. Diffuse flushing, discrete vessels and mixed red-and-brown complexions absorb light differently and respond differently, which is why our list carries three vascular platforms rather than one.

Quanta 585 emits in the vascular wavelength band and is assigned where the examination grades a case as suiting it, at ₩200,000 per session on the published list. Vbeam sits at the same price and Excel V at ₩99,000, so the assignment at our Busan, Korea clinic is made on the reading rather than on what the appointment is worth.

How It Works

The science, without the hype.

Three platforms, one grading.

01

Grade the redness

Diffuse flushing, discrete vessels and mixed red-brown tone are separated before any platform is named.

02

Assign by reading

The platform follows the grading, and the reason for the choice is stated with its published price.

03

Reassign if needed

If response disagrees with the reading, the platform changes rather than the session count increasing.

The Three Platforms

Same complaint, three published prices.

Owning all three is what lets the examination recommend the cheapest one that fits.

The Clearing Curve

What a course honestly delivers.

When What you will notice What to do
Day 0–1 Treated zones read flushed and warm, settling within hours to a day. No sauna, hot showers, hard training or alcohol for 48 hours — all flush the face.
Week 2–4 The honest read: vessels reduced, background redness a step calmer in fixed-light photos. SPF daily throughout the course, without exception.
Course end Diffuse redness substantially calmer, with maintenance framed plainly. Rosacea is controlled rather than cured; most patients return once or twice a year.
Honest Suitability

Who it suits in Busan — and who should wait.

A good fit if you…

  • Diffuse facial redness and flushing graded as vascular-dominant
  • Discrete vessels around the nose and cheeks
  • Wanting the platform assigned by grading rather than by availability
  • Busan visitors — sessions leave little to hide beyond the day

Better to wait if you…

  • Pregnancy — deferred as standard
  • Active tan or recent sun exposure — two shaded weeks first
  • Brown pigment mistaken for redness — routed to toning lasers honestly, not treated here

After your treatment

  • No sauna, hot showers, hard training or alcohol for 48 hours
  • SPF daily — treated vessels and healing skin are UV-sensitive
  • Fixed-light photos at each session referee the course

Honest limits

  • Rosacea is controlled, not cured — vessels can reform and maintenance is part of the deal
  • Brown pigment does not respond to a vascular wavelength; that needs toning lasers
  • A more expensive platform is not automatically better for your grading
Our Medical Team

Is a third vascular laser genuinely necessary?

Necessary is the wrong word — useful is closer. One good vascular platform handles the majority of redness competently, and a clinic with a single machine is not doing anything wrong. What owning three changes is the incentive: when Excel V at ₩99,000 sits on the same floor as two platforms at ₩200,000, recommending the cheaper one costs the clinic something and therefore means something. At our Busan clinic that is the argument for the collection rather than any claim that redness needs three lasers to treat.

Three doctors, one standard of care.

From the Founder

Graded and treated in person by one of our doctors.

The value of owning competing machines is not that any single one is remarkable. It is that I can send a patient to the ₩99,000 option and mean it, which a single-platform clinic structurally cannot.

Quick Answers

What does the 585 in the name refer to?

The wavelength in nanometres. Laser platforms are commonly named for the wavelength they emit, and 585nm sits in the band where blood absorbs light far more readily than surrounding tissue does — which is what makes wavelengths in this region useful for vascular work generally. It is a description of the physics rather than a claim about outcomes, and at our Busan clinic the grading rather than the number decides whether this platform suits your redness.
