What is Lenafil, and what does it do?
Lenafil
is a Korean cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler, MFDS-approved, supplied in several firmnesses so one family covers soft work in the lips and firmer support on the chin and folds. It contains lidocaine, dissolves with hyaluronidase, and behaves like every HA on our list: what you see is the plane, the volume and the doctor, not the label.
At Boom Dermatology in Seomyeon, Lenafil sits one tier above Atiere and is chosen by patients who want a Korean HA from a different manufacturer, who had a good result with it before, or who want the firmer option within the value tier for the chin. For the cheekbone and the nose the doctor will say whether a firmer imported gel is worth the step up for your face; for most other areas, Lenafil does the job.

What happens at a Lenafil session in Seomyeon?
This is how a Lenafil visit runs at Boom Dermatology, a skin clinic in Seomyeon, Busan, from the first message to the review.
1
Message first
Front and side photos and what you would like changed. The doctor replies with the area, the likely cc, the brand options and the VAT-included price per cc.
2
Consultation
The doctor assesses volume loss against sagging, marks the planes and points, and writes the plan on your record.
3
Numbing cream, twenty minutes
Topical anaesthetic; most HA fillers also contain lidocaine.
4
Injection by the doctor
Cannula where possible, needle where precision needs it. Ten to twenty minutes.
5
Out the door
Mild swelling and possible bruising. No pressure or massage; avoid alcohol and sauna for 24 hours.
6
Two-week review
We message you for a photo once swelling has settled. A small adjustment, if needed, is arranged then.
How does Boom Dermatology dose Lenafil?
Lenafil is dosed in cc per plane like every filler at Boom Dermatology; the brand sets the price and the range of firmness, not the technique.
Plane first
Deep on the bone for cheeks, chin and nose; in the body of the lip; by cannula under the eyes.
Firmness within the family
Lenafil offers more than one firmness; the doctor picks the one for your plane.
Build, not stack
Modest volume now; a half-cc at the two-week review if wanted.

Questions, answered properly
What is the difference between Lenafil and Atiere?
Manufacturer and price tier; both are Korean cross-linked HA with lidocaine and both dissolve. Some patients report a slightly longer hold with one or the other, which is individual. If you have a preference from previous treatment, say so; if not, the doctor at Boom Dermatology will suggest Atiere for value and Lenafil if you want the firmer value option on the chin.
Is Lenafil firm enough for the chin?
Yes, in its firmer formulation. For projection on the bone it holds well for twelve to fifteen months. For the very firmest, longest-lasting gel on a cheekbone or nose, the imported brands still lead, and the doctor will say whether that matters for you.
Why pay ₩22,000 more per cc than Atiere?
Preference and continuity, mostly. If you have had Lenafil before and liked it, continuity is a good reason; if you are starting fresh, either value brand does the same job and the doctor at our Seomyeon skin clinic will not upsell the difference.
How long does it last?
Nine to twelve months in mobile areas like the lips and folds; twelve to fifteen on the chin.
Is it authentic?
Sealed, MFDS-labelled packaging opened in front of you; brand and lot on your record.
