In Seomyeon we suggest it to patients who have been quoted two separate treatments elsewhere, to those on a short trip to Busan who want one strong session, and to anyone whose main complaint is the mid-face rather than the jawline. Is a combined session just two treatments at a discount?
No, it is one plan. The point is the split: how much of the session goes to the deeper layer and how much to the skin, set from your face, with the total energy capped so the two do not overlap. Two separate full sessions would cost more and deliver more heat than the mid-face needs. If the doctor thinks you need a full Ultherapy and a full Oligio, that is what you will be told, not sold a combination.
Which part of the face is Core Facial Lifting for?
The mid-face: the cheeks, the nasolabial folds and the line from the cheekbone down to the jaw. It is not a jawline treatment, which is ultrasound along the jaw, and not an eye treatment, which is a dedicated RF tip. Patients whose main complaint is "my cheeks have dropped" are the ones it is designed for.
Should I have this or filler for my cheeks?
Depends on whether the cheek has dropped or deflated. Sagging responds to energy; deflation responds to volume. Many faces over forty have both, and the doctor will tell you which one is driving your profile. We do not place filler on the same day as energy lifting; the two are scheduled two weeks apart.
Will it look natural?
