What is Rejuran Healer, and what does it do?

Rejuran Healer is the original Rejuran product and the strongest in the family: 2cc of polynucleotide at full concentration, with no hyaluronic acid carrier, placed as a microdroplet grid in the dermis. It is the version for skin that has been through a lot, years of acne and its treatments, sun damage, repeated lasers, chronic irritation, and that is now thin, uneven, reactive or scarred at the surface. Over a course of three the skin thickens, inflammation settles, pores and shallow scars soften, and the surface evens out.

Downtime after Rejuran Healer, and flying home

Honestly stated: small wheals for one to three days, slightly more noticeable than with HB because there is no HA to soften them, plus a possible bruise. Make-up from the next morning; fly the same evening. Plan three days before an event.

Rejuran Healer or standard Rejuran: is the stronger one better?

Stronger for repair, not better for everyone. Healer is pure polynucleotide at full concentration; HB blends PN with hyaluronic acid, so it hydrates while it repairs and the wheals are softer. Skin with a long history of damage gets more from Healer; skin that is simply dull or mildly thin does as well on HB with a better day-one look. Does it change the scar, or the skin around it?

Mostly the skin around it, which is still worth having. Healer thickens and evens the dermis so shallow scars and pores become less visible and the surface reflects light more evenly. A pitted scar is a structural defect that needs remodelling with RF microneedling or a fractional laser; Healer three weeks after that treatment helps the remodelled skin heal thicker. That alternating plan is the one we use for acne scars at our Seomyeon skin clinic.

How many vials do I need for a full face?

One 2cc vial per session for the face; two only if the neck is added. Clinics quoting three or four vials per face are either over-treating or counting a course. Three sessions of one vial each, two to four weeks apart, is the protocol.

Are the bumps worse than with standard Rejuran?

Slightly: without the HA carrier the wheals are a little more defined on day one and take the full three days to flatten. They are the product in the dermis where it works. Plan accordingly; we ask about events before booking.

Who is Healer actually for?

The patient whose skin has a history: years of acne and isotretinoin, sun, too many lasers, chronic irritation. If your skin is simply dull or dry, you are an HB or Juvelook patient and the doctor will say so rather than sell the stronger vial.
