What is the best non-surgical lifting treatment in Busan?
There is no single best device, only the right layer. At Boom Dermatology in Seomyeon, Ultherapy Prime
lifts the deep SMAS layer, Thermage FLX and XERF
tighten the skin itself, Oligio
does the same at a Korean price, and Shurink Universe
is the affordable HIFU for a first visit or maintenance. Lifting here starts at ₩66,000 for 100 shots of Shurink and the doctor maps your face before any price is final.

Most chosen
What international patients book most at our Busan skin clinic.
Six of eighteen. Each links to its own page with every option priced.
Lifting in Busan is not one treatment but four families of energy, and the right one depends on which layer has moved. Skin that has lost elasticity wants radiofrequency. A jawline that has dropped wants focused ultrasound on the SMAS. Eyelids want a dedicated eye tip. Texture and laxity together want needles. At Boom Dermatology the doctor looks at your face before naming a device, and the device list below is organised the way we actually choose.
Jawline and lower face
Sagging along the jaw, early jowls, a softer chin line.

Eighteen devices, each on its own page with the full price list, who it suits and what a visit looks like. Prices are per session and include VAT; "from" is the smallest shot count we offer.
A profile photo and your dates on WhatsApp. The doctor replies with two or three device options and the VAT-included price for each.

Consultation, in person
Skin thickness, where the laxity sits, your tolerance for heat. The device and shot count are decided here, with you, in English.
3
Numbing or cooling
Topical cream for ultrasound and Morpheus8, built-in cooling for RF. Twenty to thirty minutes while you fill in the record.
4
Treatment by the doctor
Ten minutes for InMode, up to ninety for Thermage FLX 900 shots. Shots are counted aloud and written down.
5
Out the door
Sunscreen on, no make-up restriction for RF. Seomyeon Station is a one-minute walk; Gimhae Airport is forty minutes by taxi.
6
Two-week review
We message you. A photo back is enough; the doctor checks it and sets the date for a second session if one is planned.
What does shot count actually mean, and how many do I need?
A shot is one pulse of energy on one spot. Devices are priced by shots because the number is the dose: 300 shots of Thermage FLX covers a full face once; 600 covers it with a second pass on the cheeks and jaw; 900 adds the neck. Ultherapy "lines" work the same way. A clinic that quotes a price without a shot count is not quoting a dose, which is why every price on this page carries one. Most faces need 300 to 400 for a first RF session, 300 for a first Ultherapy, and 100 to 300 for Shurink; the doctor confirms the number at the consultation and does not add shots to reach a package.
Are Korean lifting devices worse than imported ones?
No, and the price gap is not a quality gap. Oligio, XERF, Corage and Shurink are built in Korea, approved by the MFDS, and used in thousands of Korean clinics every day; their lower cost comes from domestic manufacturing and consumable tips, not weaker energy. Thermage FLX and Ultherapy Prime remain the reference devices for the longest published follow-up, and we keep both for patients who want that track record. At Boom Dermatology you can compare them side by side in one skin clinic in Busan, with the doctor explaining what each one does to your particular skin.
Who lifting suits, and who should wait
Good candidates
Early to moderate laxity: the jawline has softened, the skin has lost snap
Age roughly 30 to 60, with realistic expectations of a tightened rather than a surgical result
Patients maintaining a previous lift, surgical or energy-based
Anyone who wants no visible downtime on a short trip to Busan
We will suggest waiting, or something else
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Metal implants or a pacemaker in the treatment field (RF)
Active skin infection, severe acne flare or a sunburn on the area
Very heavy laxity, where threads
or surgery would serve you better; we will say so
How does Boom Dermatology grade lifting?
Before any device is switched on at our Seomyeon skin clinic, the doctor grades three things. The grade decides the device and the shot count, and both are written on your record in English.
Skin thickness
Thin skin takes RF at lower energy; thick skin tolerates more and often needs ultrasound first.
Which layer moved
Skin, fat or SMAS. Each is a different depth and a different device.
Your calendar
Flying in two days rules out Morpheus8; a wedding in six weeks favours RF over HIFU.
This is also why we do not sell packages at the door. A patient quoted "Ultherapy 600 lines" elsewhere may need 300 lines on the jaw and 300 shots of Oligio on the cheeks, for less money and a better result. The consultation is free when you proceed, and nothing on it is a sales target.

Combine — Same day or spaced
Can lifting be combined with other treatments in one Busan visit?
Works well in the same visit
Ultrasound (Ultherapy, Shurink) first, then RF (Oligio, XERF, Thermage) on the skin layer
Any RF device with a skin booster
such as Rejuran or Juvelook afterwards
InMode or Shurink with Botox
on the same day, lifting first
Eye Thermage or Eye XERF with pico toning
for dark circles
Better spaced apart
Filler
two weeks after energy lifting, so the heat does not reach fresh gel
Morpheus8 and any laser: four weeks between them
Two monopolar RF devices on the same area in one session (double heat, no extra benefit)
If you are in Busan for a short stay, say so in your first message. The doctor plans the order around your dates, and most two-device plans fit in a single afternoon in Seomyeon.

Patients arrive in Busan asking for machines they saw in Seoul or at home. We chose our eighteen deliberately. If your device is below, the page explains what we use for the same goal, and why.
Lifting questions patients ask our Busan skin clinic first
1
Which lifting treatment is best for a first visit to a Busan skin clinic?
For most first-time patients at Boom Dermatology we suggest Shurink Universe 100 shots (₩66,000)
or InMode FX + Forma 10 minutes (₩220,000)
. Both take under half an hour, have no downtime, and show you how your skin responds to energy before you commit to Thermage or Ultherapy.
2
How much does lifting cost in Busan Seomyeon, and does the price include VAT?
Lifting at Boom Dermatology starts at ₩66,000 for 100 shots of Shurink and reaches ₩3,564,000 for 900 shots of Thermage FLX. Every figure on this page includes 10% VAT and is the same for Korean and international patients. There is no consultation fee if you proceed with treatment.
3
Thermage FLX, XERF or Oligio: what is the actual difference?
All three are monopolar radiofrequency. Thermage FLX
is the imported original with the longest track record. XERF
is the newest Korean 4 MHz platform with stronger cooling, at ₩1,100,000 for 300 shots. Oligio
is the Korean device we use most for first RF, at ₩495,000 for 300 shots. The doctor chooses by skin thickness and how much heat your face tolerates, not by the name.
4
Can I combine HIFU and radiofrequency in the same visit?
Yes, and it is a common plan at our Seomyeon skin clinic: ultrasound (Ultherapy or Shurink) for the deep SMAS layer, then RF (Oligio, XERF or Thermage) for the skin layer, in the same session or a week apart. The doctor decides the order and the total energy so the two do not overlap on the same tissue.
5
Is there downtime, and can I fly home the next day?
Radiofrequency devices (Thermage, XERF, Oligio, InMode, Corage) have no downtime; you can fly the same evening. Ultrasound (Ultherapy, Shurink, Sunny, Ten Triple) may leave tenderness for one to three days, which does not stop travel. Morpheus8 is the exception: plan two to four quiet days for redness before a long flight.
6
How many sessions do I need, and how long do results last?
Thermage FLX, Ultherapy Prime and XERF are single-session treatments repeated once a year. Oligio, Shurink and InMode are usually done as a short course of two to three sessions, four to eight weeks apart, then maintained every six to twelve months. Results build for three to six months after the session.
7
Who performs the treatment at Boom Dermatology?
The doctor, not a technician. The consultation, device choice, shot count and the treatment itself are done by the same doctor, and the shot count is written on your record so your next clinic, anywhere in the world, knows exactly what was done.
8
Do you have Sofwave, EMFACE or Volnewmer in Busan?
No. We chose eighteen devices that cover the same goals: XERF and InMode for EMFACE, Ultherapy and Shurink for Sofwave, Oligio and Thermage for Volnewmer. Each alternative page explains what we use instead and why. If you need that exact device, we will tell you, not sell you a substitute.
The doctor grades your skin from the photo, names the device and the shot count, and you get the exact VAT-included price before you book a flight to Busan.
