Miracell stem cell therapy in Busan Seomyeon
Miracell is the stem-cell-derived preparation Boom Dermatology uses in two protocols: a 30 cc skin injection for a face that has thinned, dulled and lost its recovery, and a systemic infusion of 120 or 240 cc for the patients who come for the regenerative protocol itself. From ₩1,100,000, VAT included, by the doctor at a skin clinic one minute from Seomyeon Station, with the honest line on what the preparation is and what the evidence supports.

What is Miracell, what does the skin and the infusion protocol do, and what does it cost in Busan?
Miracell
is a stem-cell-derived
preparation: the growth factors, cytokines, exosomes and signalling proteins that stem cells secrete, harvested from culture and prepared for injection, rather than the living cells themselves. That distinction is the first thing the doctor at Boom Dermatology explains, because it is the one the marketing blurs. In Korea, outside a licensed clinical trial, what a clinic injects into skin is this secretome, the cells' signalling output, and the rationale is that those signals tell the patient's own fibroblasts and immune cells to repair, make collagen and calm inflammation. What patients see in the skin over a course is a thicker, more even, better-recovering surface, in the family of what Rejuran
and the exosome boosters do, at a higher concentration and a higher price.
The two protocols differ in aim. The skin injection
, 30 cc across the face, neck or hands, delivered by microinjection or microneedle, is for skin that has thinned with age, sun or weight loss, dulled, or stopped recovering well from lasers; three sessions four to six weeks apart. The systemic infusion
, 120 or 240 cc intravenously, is the regenerative protocol patients travel for: the aim is the whole body's inflammation and recovery, the evidence is early and the doctor, an internal medicine specialist, says so plainly, assesses for the conditions that rule it out and monitors the infusion. Neither treats a disease, and neither is offered as if it did. The Y-Cell
page covers the other preparation; the stem cell hub
compares the protocols; the booster
pages are the lower-priced routes to much of the skin result.

Are these actually stem cells?
What does the skin injection do that a booster does not?
What is the IV protocol for, and is there evidence?
Is it safe, and who should not have it?
How many sessions, and how long does it last?
All of these come up most weeks at our Seomyeon skin clinic. The page answers them in order.
02
Who it suits
Who Miracell suits, and who should not have it
Good candidates
Skin that has thinned, dulled or lost its recovery with age, sun or weight loss
Patients who have done the booster courses and want the next tier
Recovery support around aggressive laser courses
Patients seeking a regenerative protocol who want it explained honestly
Residents and visitors able to return for a course of three
We will suggest something else
Active cancer or a history of it without oncology clearance; the firm exclusion
Active infection, autoimmune disease on immunosuppressants, pregnancy or breastfeeding
Expecting a disease to be treated; it is not a treatment for one
Patients who want the live-cell therapy; that is a clinical trial, not a clinic
Anyone for whom a booster course would do, which the doctor says

What happens at a miracell consultation in Seomyeon?
This is how a miracell consultation runs at Boom Dermatology, a skin clinic in Seomyeon, Busan, from the first message to the review.
1
Message first
What you want it for, skin, scalp or a systemic protocol, any conditions and medications, and your dates. The doctor replies with the protocol, what the preparation is and the price.
2
Consultation
History, medications, the conditions that rule it out; what the preparation contains and what the evidence supports, said plainly and written on your record.
3
Prepare
Make-up off and numbing cream for skin or scalp; a cannula for a systemic protocol.
4
The session
Microinjection or microneedle delivery across the area by the doctor, or a monitored infusion over sixty to ninety minutes.
5
Out the door
Pinpricks and sunscreen for skin; nothing for an infusion; aftercare on WhatsApp.
6
Review and rhythm
A photo at four weeks; a course of three for skin or scalp; a systemic protocol repeated by the doctor's plan.
How does Boom Dermatology plan miracell treatment?
Three readings, taken at the consultation and written on your record.
What it is, said first
Secretome, not live cells; what the evidence supports and what it does not, on your record.
Screened
Cancer history, infection, autoimmune disease, pregnancy; an infusion needs a medication list and monitoring.
Course for skin, plan for systemic
Three skin sessions four to six weeks apart; a systemic protocol by the doctor's plan, never sold as a package.

Questions, answered properly
Are these actually stem cells?
No, and the doctor at Boom Dermatology says so before anything else: Miracell is what stem cells secrete, the growth factors, exosomes and cytokines, prepared from culture, not the living cells. Live expanded stem cells are a licensed clinical-trial therapy in Korea, not a clinic injection. The secretome is the part with the signalling activity, and it is what every "stem cell" skin treatment in Busan is.
What does the skin injection do that a booster does not?
More of the same signals at a higher concentration across a larger volume: a Rejuran or exosome booster thickens and evens skin over a course, and most faces are served by it; the Miracell protocol is the next tier for skin that has thinned a great deal or recovers poorly, and for patients who have done the boosters and want more. The doctor says which tier you are, and often it is the booster.
What is the IV protocol for, and is there evidence?
The aim is systemic: inflammation, recovery, the sense of wellbeing patients report; the evidence is early, from small studies and reports, and our Seomyeon skin clinic says that rather than promising a result. It is assessed and monitored by an internal medicine specialist, which is the minimum a systemic infusion of a biological preparation deserves.
Is it safe, and who should not have it?
The preparations are screened and sterile, and the skin protocol has the safety record of a booster; the infusion is monitored. The firm exclusion is cancer, active or in the history without oncology clearance, because growth signals are not something to give a tumour; infection, immunosuppression and pregnancy are the others. The doctor asks about all of them.
How many sessions, and how long does it last?
Three skin sessions four to six weeks apart, with the result building for two months after the last and lasting most of a year before a maintenance session; a systemic protocol is one or two infusions by the doctor's plan. Patients at Boom Dermatology in Busan are photographed in fixed light at every visit, because the skin change is gradual.
