Is a 532nm laser safe on Asian skin?

With type-matched settings and honest patient selection, yes — but the caution is real and worth stating. A 532nm beam is absorbed by melanin as well as haemoglobin, so it must be dosed conservatively on darker and tanned skin, and it is not the right tool for melasma. At our Busan clinic every 532nm pass runs test pulses first, a strict two-week no-tan rule applies, and cases that grade melasma-dominant are moved to melasma-safe protocols rather than treated here.

Can red and brown really be treated in the same visit?

Yes — that is the platform's reason to exist. The doctor switches wavelength by target within one session: 532nm across superficial vessels and sun spots, 1064nm where a vessel sits deeper.
