Start here — direct answer
What is Nuviju, and which fat pocket is it for in Busan?
Nuviju
is a fat-dissolving injection based on cholic acid, a bile acid in the same family as the deoxycholic acid in V-OLET. Bile acids emulsify fat; at injection concentration they disrupt the membrane of fat cells in the pocket they are placed in, and the cells are cleared over the following weeks without regenerating. Nuviju sits with Olifit in the concentrated tier at Boom Dermatology, above the standard contour injection and at a lower price than V-OLET, with a swelling profile closer to V-OLET than to the blend.
In Seomyeon the doctor assigns Nuviju for defined, stubborn pockets on the chin
and body where a bile-acid formula is wanted at a lower price point than V-OLET, and for patients whose standard contour injections have plateaued. Two to four cc per session, two to four sessions four weeks apart. For a gentler concentrated option, Olifit; for a whole area, Onda.

Questions, answered properly
What is cholic acid, and how is it different from deoxycholic acid?
Both are bile acids the body makes to emulsify fat; deoxycholic acid is the one with the longest record as an injection and a specific approval for the chin, cholic acid is a related molecule used in Nuviju's formulation. The mechanism in the pocket is the same, disrupting the fat cell membrane. At Boom Dermatology the choice between them is mostly price and protocol.
Nuviju or V-OLET?
V-OLET for the specific submental approval and the strongest per cc; Nuviju for a bile-acid formula at ₩88,000 less per 2cc, with similar swelling. For a body pocket where either is off-label the price usually decides; for the chin the doctor says which.
How much swelling?
Three to five days, closer to V-OLET than to the standard blend; the area looks fuller before it looks smaller. Our Seomyeon skin clinic photographs day one and day twenty-eight.
How many cc and sessions?
Two to four cc per session for a chin, four to six for a body pocket; two to four sessions four weeks apart, with the re-pinch deciding.
Which pockets?
Defined, stubborn ones: chin, jowl, bra line, inner knee, arm fold. Not whole areas and not weight. Patients at Boom Dermatology in Busan are told at the pinch test if a pocket is better served by Onda or by the standard blend.
