• Never pick a crust — picked sites are where lasting marks come from
• No swimming, sauna or hard training while crusts hold
• SPF religiously once crusts shed, for months rather than weeks
• Report blistering promptly; it happens occasionally and is manageable when seen early

On scarring: correctly performed laser removal on intact skin rarely scars. What does cause marks is picking, sun exposure on fresh skin, and treating over pre-existing scarring from the original tattoo work — which is assessed at grading. Where the tattoo itself scarred during application, that texture remains after the ink clears, and we say so before starting.
